Founder, BLC Podcast Host, Blogger
Rick
Mexican born, Chicago bred. I grew up on the NW side of Chicago and naturally became a huge Cubs fan. My first love was football/Bears defense, my first hate was the Packers #fuckwisconsin. I host the BLC podcast as well as write for the Bears, Bulls and Cubs. Favorite athlete of all time has to be Walter Payton and my favorite Chicago sports memory is the Cubs winning the World Series. My goal for COM is to bring great content to our supporters who can Crack One open after a long day, relax and have a laugh.

What’s up Chicago, I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago in the Aurora and Naperville area. I really got into the Blackhawks when they were winning all of their Stanley Cups, but my fandom got really serious about three years ago. My favorite athletes on the Chicago teams are Alex Debrincat on the Hawks, David Montgomery on the Bears, Nico Hoerner on the Cubs, and Lonzo Ball on the Bulls. My favorite Chicago sports memory is the 2016 Cubs World Series title by far. I look forward to continuing my journey here with Crack One Media and hopefully you guys continue to read my articles! www.twitch.tv/chicago_sportsjack

Nicholas/Chicago K.O.
I use the nickname Chicago K.O. for Crack One Media, I grew up in Chicago in the Lincoln Square and Northcenter Neighborhood. Attended SIU and then moved to Logan Square. One time I traded a “Sport-flic” Rick Sufcliffe card with him for 3 tickets to a game. So when Rick was warming up I told my friend and grandfather that I was going to go down there and thank him for the tickets. As I was waiting there for the right moment I snuck into some seats and a kid from grade school who I guess had season tickets screamed out at me “Hey Nick, what are you doing here?!” I told him, “I”m just going to thank Rick Sufcliffe for the tickets.” He scoffed at me and said yeah right when at that exact moment I jumped up and yelled out to Rick “Hey Rick thanks for the tickets!” and he tossed me the ball he was pitching with, then nodded and winked at me in front of my classmate whose jaw dropped and the rest of the stadium cheered as I ran back to my seat showing off the ball to everyone and anyone as they all clapped and smiled and laughed!!! Check out my website which is most important to me where you can see a lot of my art at www.nicknickers.com

Born and raised on the NW side of Chicago and since my grandpa and dad are die-hard Cubs fans, I had to follow suit. My favorite athlete is currently Canelo Alvarez and my favorite Chicago sports moment experience has to be the Rafael Ortega grand slam against the Sox in the Crosstown Classic. I'm big into video games, being a film critic, re-watching The Office every couple months and have met David Kaplan a couple of time during my time at DePaul.

I grew up in SW Chicago and played football for 12 years and basketball for 3 years. I've been going to all sorts of Chicago sports games since I was a kid with my dad and I currently write for the Bears and Bulls. My favorite athlete currently is Zach LaVine but I'm more about what makes a really great team not glorifying individual players too much so favorite team would be the Blackhawks dynasty of the 2010s. I've held the Stanley Cup in my hands and have recently published my first book!

Kyle/Prada-G
My name is Kyle, some people call me Prada-G (not really that’s that’s my rap name and I’m not real rapper.) I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Florida when I was eight. I spent most my time in Jacksonville (Duvaaaallll) and Miami. How did I become a Broncos fan you ask ? it’s very strange story. Me and my buddy Alex would Play football with our friends Brandon & Wesley during recess…this was during the first grade. We picked the Broncos and to this day, Alex and I are diehard bronco fans. I went to my first Broncos game when I was 18 years old. I called Alex outside the stadium. We hadn’t spoke in over a decade so luckily I had his phone number memorized from when we were kids. I asked him if he was still a broncos fan and he replied with a firm “yes.” I said “Alex not just a fan, are you weirdly attached to the Broncos? Like you don’t miss one game and watch their press conferences all week?” He confirmed. I told him “I don’t know what happened when we opened that book.” This was 21 years ago, and to this day I haven’t missed a single game. Anyways, I enjoy playing football and basketball but really all sports (with the exception of soccer) spending time at the gym, (I’m skinny) cooking, and free-styling. And once in a while i play video games. I consider myself creative and easy-going. I’ve had a hell of a journey for 27, and I’m looking forward to more adventures wherever life take me. My Twitter name is @FTBLonly. Seeeeeeeya!
